Rüdiger Ostermann

Ostermann has been with TE Connectivity since August 2014 and currently serves as Vice President and CTO Global Automotive, where he leads global product development with around 2,000 engineers in a matrix organization.

From January 2022 to April 2023, he led the Asia Pacific Automotive organization as Vice President and CTO, overseeing sites in China, Korea, and Japan, with responsibility for product and process development.

Between 2009 and 2014, he worked as European Business Manager at SEWS Components Europe, focusing on the automotive industry. Prior to that, he held several senior leadership positions at Lear Corporation, including Business Director and Engineering Director roles in Europe and Japan.

Ostermann holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering (Diplom‑Ingenieur) from the University of Applied Sciences Münster.
