Lutz Lehmann

Lutz Lehmann is a certified mechatronics engineering graduate specializing in production and automation, and he began his professional career in 1999 at a Tier 1 automotive supplier in the field of process development for wiring harness production. His initial focus was on the analysis and optimization of cable processing processes. 

After a multi-year detour into the IT industry, he returned to his former employer to contribute to overcoming the increasing challenges in electrical contacting technology, such as reduction targets for weight and cross-sections. 

In 2007, he took over the management of the new department for material bond joining technologies and worked, among other things, on the development and industrialization of aluminum applications. 

From 2016, he served as a Managing Expert for material bond joining technology, with a focus on ultrasonic metal welding, supporting the company's process owners worldwide and being responsible for the central standards and specifications in his field. The desire to actively shape the future of ultrasonic welding through consistent data utilization ultimately led him to Telsonic AG in 2024.
