Jens Warmuth

Jens Warmuth earned a B.Sc. in Engineering Physics (2013) and an M.Sc. in Micro‑ and Nanotechnology (2015) from Munich University of Applied Sciences. 

He then continued the research started in his master’s thesis at the Fraunhofer IZM for one year as a scientific employee before joining Fraunhofer IIS in 2016. 

At the IIS he served as responsible engineer for several projects covering diverse topics in the fields of reliability, modelling and simulation. 

Since 2019, Mr. Warmuth has been head of the group Functional Safety and System Reliability. In this role he combines leadership with hands-on work at the junction between science and engineering in functional safety, reliability, systems engineering and modelling.
