In 1991, I completed my degree in Mechanical engineering studies at the Leibniz University of Hannover, specializing in production engineering/production logistics. In 1997 I finished my doctorate with honours at the Institute of Production Systems and Logistics at Leibniz University Hannover (IFA) and received 2yrs later the Otto Kienzle Prize of the Scientific Society for Production Technology, Aachen Congress.

After holding various positions, I was promoted to plant manager at NEXANS Mönchengladbach-Rheydt. After 19 years with Nexans Group, holding the position Vice President Industrial Operations Market Line Utilities and Europe; Nexans France, I left the company to start as Managing Director Wires at Gebauer & Griller Kabelwerke GmbH in February 2016.

From 2020 until 2024 I worked in the role as Chief Sales Officer and Chief Technology Officer for GG Group.

In 2024 I took on the role as Chief Executive and Chief Technical Officer as well as Chief Restructuring Officer. In 2025, the transformation process was completed successfully and the CRO role was discontinued.

Since then, I have been serving as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer at GG Group leading over 4000 employees across our 13 global sites. My main responsibilities are the strategic orientation of the company as well as the technical, forward-looking leadership and promotion together with the leadership of the Group departments Human Resources, Procurement, Standardization & Technology, Research & Innovation, Technical Development, Project- & Portfoliomanagement, Quality Management and Marketing & Communication.
